For Low and Distorted Sound

If your iPhone5S is encountering low sound or distorted sound problem then the only thing that you can do is to change your buzzer, as this problem cannot be resolved in any other way.

For No Sound

The very first thing that you need to do is to check your entire phone for any traces of water damage. You have to check each and every component of your phone either it is related to buzzer or not. In case you find any traces of water damage clean it.

Now gently pull up the buzzer pins, so that they can make contact with the buzzer contacts, as in most cases the only reason of this problem is that the buzzer pins are not making contact with contacts properly.

Also clean the buzzer contacts, as sometimes minor rust or dust also comes in the way.

Now check connection between buzzer contacts and charging strip connector’s pins (buzzer’s connection is also on charging dock). In case there is no connection then you need to change the entire charging strip, as you cannot place jumper.

Re-solder first 2 pins of on-board connector as mentioned in above figure.
Finally check connection between those 2 pins of on-board connector and the two capacitors mentioned in figure.

Android 5.0 Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S5 – Update on Rollout Status

The Korean phone makers are presently nurturing the Samsung Galaxy S5 having the Android v5.0 Lollipop update.
In addition, Samsung has been looking forward to catering the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4 with the recent Android update. However, these versions are available in selected nations only. Let us find details about the recent Android update and the information on its status.
The Android v5.0 Lollipop OS for the Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, Note 3 and Note 4 rolled out early December last year. The S5 is expected to be the first phone in the Galaxy lineup to get the Lollipop update. Samsung has not forgotten about Exynos and released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for it on February 3, 2015.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also came with the latest Android Lollipop version 5.0 late January this year. However, the Galaxy Note 3 LTE version (N9505) is also expected to receive the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
In continuation, the initial days of February saw the Android v5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. However, the Exynos variant of the Galaxy Note 4 was the first to receive the recent Android update. It was updated on February 11, 2015 in Poland. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was updated with the latest software, the preceding day. Furthermore, the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy Note 4 received the latest update in Germany.

When the update is ready to be installed on the terminal, you would receive a notification for system update. You are required to tap on the update, select ‘Download now’. Hello everyone!

The problem is: I changed to LG D820 32GB dead memory SDIN8DE4-32G on the same eMMC. But after flashing LG_D820_dump_rom1_512mb from Z3x's support the phone's USERDATA have just 12.8GB. Although it should be 27,23 GB (Len: 6ce9fa800 in HEX).

Questions such:
1. Is it possible to correct section USERDATA in the dump? (It should be the length of the section - 6ce9fa800)
2. Can anyone make a dump of the 32GB model? (512MB is enough)
3. Will there ever be a method to resize a partition USERDATA by Z3x? This is very important.

Galaxy S4 Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update globally

While the Galaxy S4 LTE-A Lollipop update is currently available in the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia, the good old vanilla Galaxy S4 hasn't had a whiff of Lollipop there yet (although Russian and Indian Galaxy S4's have 5.0 already).
However, Italian website Optima Italia claims that German manufacturers already have their hands on the 5.0.1 firmware in Europe, and that the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy S4 is due to be rolled out in Europe imminently.

The process starts with copying the bootloader from a working Samsung I9500 GS4 mobile phone to SD card, Then using the SD card to copy the Bootloader file to the dead board of I9500, After doing this step your phone will be able to enter the Download Mode so you can flash it using a full firmware package (Pit + PDA + MODEM + CSC).

STEP 2 : How to find CLK and CMD

Please Take Note of the Following Items before Attempting to Find CLK and CMD:

1. Make sure you connect Positive (+) and Negative (-) Terminals Properly and Correctly.
2. Make sure POWER BUTTON is ALWAYS PRESSED
3. DO NOT Connect USB Cable to Phone
3. Allow at least 2 Tries per possible Location on the PCB
4. DO NOT Exert Too Much Force on the Resistors as they may COME OFF!!!
5. Not all Phones have exposed CLK or CMD Locations on the PCB.
6. Not all Phones are supported with this NEW TP FINDER Method. ATF Team will continue to improve it via UPDATES.

STEP 1: Connect Power Positive (+) and Negative (-) to the Phone's Battery Terminal
STEP 2: Make Sure Power Button is Always Pressed. Use Rubber Band or Tie Cables.

STEP 3: Setup ATF Software settings such as REPEAT and INTERVAL for your convenience
REPEAT <--- automatically="" b="" finder="" itself="" loop="" number="" of="" times="" tp="" will="">
INTERVAL <--- b="" before="" delay="" finder="" in="" next="" operation="" seconds="" start="" the="" tp="" will="">

STEP 4: Start Connecting Test Point PIN to Resistors/TP Pads on the Phone's PCB around the eMMC Area.
Wait for Message "Please Check Another Location..." before trying other TP Locations
On ATF BIG Chrome Box, change TP Location when GREEN LED will Power OFF
On ATF Nitro/Lightning Box, change TP Location when BLUE LED will Power OFF

In this Example, I tried all the Locations that were marked with RED
DO NOT TRY TO TP a CAPACITOR, it is NEVER CORRECT for CLK and CMD
Capacitors are BROWN in COLOR
Resistors are BLACK in COLOR
ONLY TRY TO TP Resistors and Test Point Pads around eMMC Area

When a correct Test Point is Found, you will see similar Message Below.
The message also shows you the PINOUT of ATF RJ-45 Socket for the proper connection of the Test Point Found.

If Test Point is not Found Around the eMMC Area, you can try looking for it around the CPU A
