Root All China/Korea samsung Clone tab Devices how to rot
TRY AT OWN RISK
Pre-amble
Instead of using a windows Flashtool or Mediatek Flashtool that needs windows or Linux/Wine or Linux/virtual machine for windows, it is far easier to install Mobileuncle from Google playstore.
Step 1
Ensure you download a TWRP or a CWM recovery image you know from others will work for your device please.
Step 2
Rename the recovery image as either
recovery-cwm.img or recovery-twrp.img
Please use lower case names.
Step 3
Use your file manager to put it at the root of your internal storage or removeable storage card
Step 4
Go into Google Playstore search and install mobileuncle
It works for most Mediatek devices
Step 5
Enter mobileuncle and
if you have granted permanent root power access to mobileuncle you won't get a prompt to access su OTHERWISE you will get a prompt.
The choice is yours. I use it regularly so prefer auto granted root permission
-----you set this in your superuser app......such as supplied by chainfire.
YMMV
Once you have granted it root access or got it automatically then......
Click on the recovery update selection and then follow the prompts.
Mobileuncle searches your internal storage and SD card for all files that start with the string recovery
Once it has finished it search it will display one or more hits of files start with the name recovery.
Choose yours and then allow it to be installed.
You will then be given the option to reboot into recovery mode.
I suggest you do so......to do a backup.
TWRP or CWM recoveries offer you an option to reboot into normal mode.
To keep the movie short, I am not showing how to use TWRP to flash a new custom ROM onto your flash device.
good luck
