OS 7 comes with some really nice features and Activation Lock feature
in Find My iPhone is one of them. Some of you might be wondering that
what does this feature actually do and how it’s related to unlocking?
Below we’re going to try to explain it to you.
If you had Find My iPhone in iOS 6 and you updated to iOS 7 or you installed it after upgrading to iOS 7, Activation Lock feature will be enabled automatically. If God forbid, some thief steals your phone, it’ll ask him your Apple ID and Password to perform the following tasks.
If you’re using iOS 7 and Find My iPhone is enabled on your handset, it’s necessary that you disable it before unlocking. You can disable it be performing the following steps.
Before ordering our AT&T iPhone unlock service, please make sure that you can turn off Find My iPhone on iOS 7 because most of the times unlock process completion requires restoring your device via iTunes. We can only remotely unlock your device by using IMEI number but can’t control activation lock feature.
